Inspired by the success of first three Spanish language albums, Enrique decided to release an English language album. Iglesias released two singles « Esperanza» and « Nunca Te Olvidaré», which topped Latin-American charts. In 1998, the third album Cosas del Amor was released. According to the sales results, this album leveled Enrique Iglesias and English language superstars. Three singles topped Billboard Hot Latin Tracks hit parade, namely « Enamorado Por Primera Vez», « Sólo En Ti» and « Miente». The next album was Vivir (1997), which was also a success. Besides big sales, it earned Enrique a Grammy Award in 1996. This album was the first success of the young singer.
